Danica Samuel, is currently a student at The University of Guelph-Humber - Studying Journalism. At age 16 she was one of the youngest females to conquer Mount Kilimanjaro in 2009 through the ‘Because I am a Girl’ Campaign - Formerly known as ‘Girl!mpact ‘.

Ever since her mission to champion girls across seas, she has taken that mentality and decided to champion others locally. Samuel always wanted a career path in the Media industry, but didn't know where to start. With the guidance and support of her Mentor- Marci Ien from Co-Host of CTV's Canada AM; Samuel was inspired and motivated to direct her career choice into journalism and Broadcasting.

She currently interns at Lola Media Group as an online journalist. The founder Lola Plaku has also been a mentor and inspiration. Samuel is also the Online Content Editor at Toronto's Manifesto organization. With these positions she’s been inspired to create her own blogging site, that not only focuses on mainstream news but provides reviews, and promotion of local/ grass root artist.

Samuel provides a public relations aspect to her work, by promoting new talents and their accomplishments while directing them to others in the media industry. Her skills include reporting news, promoting upcoming events, writing articles (bio’s), reviews & broadcasting.

New Music: Frank Ocean - Eyes Like sky

Here’s an unreleased track from Grammy Award winner Frank Ocean called ‘Eyes Like Sky’. the track has smooth vocals over guitars and a mid-tempo beat; a melody believed to be a leftover from his debut album “Channel Orange”, which was released last year. Frank is currently working on his follow up album and is already 10-11 songs in.
